Guyana Environment Initiative an youth based organisation, with the aim to clean up and beautify the environment by using recycled materials.
G.E.I will make bins out of recycled tyres and plastic bottles .The bins will be places in public institutions; schools, hospitals, street corners and other public spaces. G.E.I will also grow flowering plants around public space, to beautify the environment.
The Pilot Project for G.E.I will be at the University of Guyana, with the aim to clean up and beatify the university’s environment. This initial stage of the G.E.I project will garner the support of young people at the university to take this initiative into their communities.
